Pitchfork Music Festival Rebrand

April 2022

A visualisation of music through
bold colour and illustration.

Pitchfork Music Festival is held yearly in
Chicago, celebrating summer through music,
art and community.

The festival focuses on promoting Chicago’s art and
music scene, hosting local performers and artists to
uplift the local community. Pitchfork Music Festival
has been a vital part of the arts community in Chicago,
reflecting the vibrant culture it creates.

To represent the energy of the festival, bright,
vibrant colours were used alongside illustrations
of the headlining artists to help promote the culture
of the festival. The bold style creates an ‘out of this
world’ feeling, reflecting feeling of Chicago’s art
scene and visualising the experience of attending
music festival.

This project was a redesign of Pitchfork’s 2022 Music
Festival, transforming the original system into one that
matched the values of Pitchfork Music Festival and
celebrated the artistic community in Chicago.
